YATT'IT PRIVACY POLICY

The yatt'it Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information when you use the yatt'it web site (the "Site"), including information provided when you register for the Site. We will limit the collection and use of Personal Information (as defined below) to what is necessary to administer the Site, provide you with the highest quality service, and offer you information we think will be of interest. We will NOT disclose any Personal Information except as specifically provided below. Personal Information means any information, data or records, which relate to your use of the Site. There are three types of information: (1) "Member Identity," such as your name, street address, telephone number, and any screen names associated with your account; (2) "Navigational Information," such as information about where you go on the Site or the times that you access the Site; and (3) "Private Communications Content," such as the contents of email, or private chat room or instant message communications.

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTION AND STORAGE

  • You need a Hyatt Gold Passport® ("Gold Passport") account to use yatt'it. A Gold Passport Account allows you to access many of our services that require registration. Information submitted in connection with obtaining a Gold Passport account shall be governed by the Privacy Policy located at goldpassport.com.
  • As a Site member, you can create an unique member profile that includes personal information, such as your gender, age, occupation, hobbies, and interests, plus other content, such as photos. However, creating a profile is not necessary to view content on the Site.
  • Any information entered into the member profile may be accessed and viewed by other Site members – however, the only required element is the Profile Name.
  • Some of the Site's advanced features are only available to persons who provide us with the requested personally identifiable information.
  • We may also keep information on your communications with our Customer Service department such as written complaints relating to the Site.
  • We may collect and store certain Navigational Information which you have selected, such as data on the range of available content, the times and ways you access the Site.
  • The email system serving the Site retains the contents of private email communications for a limited period only. Once read, most emails are permanently deleted from the system. Although this specific rule of retention is the general policy, it is no guarantee that such forms of correspondence will or will not be retained. Consequently, if you wish to keep copies of any communications, you should store such communications on your personal computer hard drive or in print form.

USES

  • Hyatt maintains and processes your personal information in order to provide your Site account and access.
  • Your profile information is displayed according to the preferences you set in your profile.
  • When you post tips and comments on the Site, your Profile Name will be identified in the post or tip.
  • The information we collect in connection with our community is used to provide an interactive experience. We use this information to facilitate participation and, from time to time, to offer you products, programs, or services.

DISCLOSURE

  • Because Hyatt considers the Personal Information we maintain to be confidential, our policy is to not disclose this information to third parties without prior consent (which may be oral or electronic), or unless specifically provided below. Hyatt reserves the right to use agents, who are bound by strict confidentiality guidelines, to perform storage and processing functions.
  • We never make our email list available to third party companies. All email blasts come directly from us. Hyatt does not release member telephone numbers, or other Personal Information, such as Navigational Information or Private Communications Content. It is our policy not to disclose to third parties Personal Information that links a visitor's profile name(s) with a visitor's actual name, unless required to do so by law or legal process served on Hyatt (e.g. subpoena). Hyatt reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy in exceptional circumstances (such as a bomb or suicide threat, or instances of suspected illegal activity) on a case-by-case basis and at Hyatt's sole discretion.
  • Hyatt reserves the right to disclose any Personal Information you submit to us if we are compelled to do so by a court of law or governmental entity or if we determine it is necessary or desirable to comply with the law or to protect or defend our rights or property or the rights or property of the Site or its members.
  • Hyatt reserves the right to treat as public, any information that is published or becomes generally known or available.

YOUR CHOICES

  • You can update your profile information at any time by clicking on the "edit" button in your profile setting. Any such updates shall constitute personal information provided to us for use in accordance with this policy.
  • You can remove your profile from the site at any time. Simply visit the Contact Us page, select "Remove my Profile" and send us an email with your Gold Passport number. Your profile will be removed within 48 hours. If you choose to remove your profile, all profile information will be deleted. Please note however, that any tips and comments you have submitted will remain on the Site. If you elect to remove your profile from the Site, you will no longer receive any of the customized benefits of the Site.
  • Hyatt reserves the right to remove any content posted on the Site at any time for any reason and to organize topical forums in order to best serve the majority of the Site members.
  • Hyatt reserves the right to delete messages that violate applicable laws or that may be harmful to others. Hyatt does not have the ability to restrict conduct or communications that might violate our rules prior to transmission on the Internet, nor can we ensure prompt removal of offending forum posts.

WEB HOST

The site is hosted by Rapp Collins on servers located in Las Colinas, Texas in the facilities of DMSP, and is managed by Rapp Collins.

IP ADDRESS

An IP Address is a number automatically assigned to a user's computer each time the user browses the Internet. When you visit the Site the applicable server used by our Web Hosts makes a record of your IP Address, together with the date and time of your visit, the type of Internet browser you use and the URL of any other web site that referred you to our web site. The same is true when you are transferred from our web site to other web sites in the manner describe in this section.

SECURITY

Rapp Collins uses Secured Socket Layer ("SSL") up to 128-bit encryption in order to encrypt the personal information that you provide using the Site. Provided that you use a SSL enabled Internet browser, the personal information submitted will be secure.
