Stayed at the Hyatt Beijing many times and love the hotel. Situated steps away from the Hidden City and yet away from the hustle and bustle of CBD. You can actually shop, eat, sightsee and sleep all without taking a cab.

I would strongly recommend the 18th floor suites, they are terrific. Take a car from the airport, rather than the cab as the cabbies rarely speak english. Arrive at a non-peak hour and eat in the mall downstairs.
