My favorite San Diego Breakfast

On the way into San Diego a flight attendant friend told me about her favorite breakfast in town. With her strong recommendation, I planned my off-site breakfast that was a short ride from the Manchester property. I headed for the Theater District to "Hash House a Go Go." It's probably my new favorite breakfast in the United States. Their pancakes (they call "Flapjacks") include these possible selections: Traditional Buttermilk, Blueberry Pecan, Brown Sugar Banana, Blackberry Granola, Snickers, Butterscotch Almond, Apple Cinnamon, Mango Coconut, and Strawberry Frosted Flakes. Everything was great!

The servers, the atmosphere, and the food make it worth the wait. As you're standing in line you'll meet pilots and flight attendants from around the world... always a good sign! They now have a second location in Vegas, but I haven't been there.

One more thing--the portions are probably the biggest in the United States. Two big appetites? Order one breakfast and plan for a doggie bag. Enjoy!
