Orlando Airport Favorite

Anytime I fly through MCO I stop at McCoy's inside the airport next to the Hyatt. This is a unique place... you pass by the the restaurant before you get to baggage claim or the car rental counters. I HAVE TO get a large cup of their Cajun Chowder to go. It is unbelievably good. Here is what I do...

When my plane lands I have the restaurant number in my phone (407-825-1340). I call and order the large cup of the Cajun Chowder (it isn't spicy, but does have a small kick). I tell them that I'll pick it up in about five miuntes... and I ask them to have it waiting. As soon as I get to the main terminal from the little train, I head right to McCoy's to pick up my order. They have it waiting in a very sturdy styrofoam cup with a lid. I grab my cub and head for the rental car.

As soon as I head out of the airport I am sipping my favorite soup in the world without making a stop on the road.
