Liquid Sunshine Recommendation in Kauai

Sometimes when we have rainy and or gloomy days (Vog) and guests are looking for something to do, I suggest that they visit the Kauai Historical Museum on Rice Street. The Kauai Museum was established in 1960 and has an outstanding collection reflecting the heritage and artistic achievements of the indigenous and immigrant people of Kauai and Ni'ihau. Visitors can also discover the geological history of the Hawaiian Islands, their flora, fauna, marinne life and volcanic origins.

They can even walk in time when Captain James Cook first landed in Waimea, Kauai in 1778. From the primitive Hawaiian settlements to the works of the art of the Hawaiian Monarchy, I really think that the Kauai Museum gives our visitors a better understanding of the rich history and culture of the Hawaiian People. And if they are looking for gifts and souveniers, they can browse the Kauai's gift shop. Aloha!
