Between Hyatts CDG, PH Vendome, Madeleine

I usually stay my first and last nights in Paris at the Hyatt CDG. It has a free (tour-type) express bus that leaves at 10.00 for avenue de l'Opera, stopping by Metro Pyramides. It returns from there at 18.00. From there, it's about two blocks to the PH Vendome, and about four blocks to Hyatt Madeleine. Some say in other travel forums that they have been dropped off at these Hyatts on request. The next easiest way into town is to take Hyatt CDG's shuttle back to the airport (any terminal), and take the "Roissybus" public express bus to rue Scribe, right beside the Opera Garnier. (It costs about 8 euros.) From there, it's two blocks to either the PH Vendome, or about three to the Madeleine. Or, take the "B" commuter train from any airport terminal to Metro Opera, a block from the PH Vendome, or go to Metro Madeleine, a block from the Madeleine Hyatt. (Cost is also about 8 euros.) The two hotels are about two blocks from each other.

I think the other Metro station near the Madeleine Hyatt is Malesherbes, or it could be Haussmann. Actually, this station is around the corner less than a block from the Madeleine hotel. Perhaps the Madeleine Hyatt concierge might clarify? I tried to find the answer on the Hyatt Madeleine website, but it does not say. (It would be very nice to note this on the Hyatt Madeleine's Map & Directions webpage.) Thank you.

If you arrive at CDG on American Airlines you pick up the Roissybus right outside the McDonalds. Cost is 8.65 euro. Exact or small bills helps move the line along. Depending on traffic it nmight take about an hour to get to the bus stop, which is right outside the American Express office-right near the opera.

Taxi would coist about 40 to 50 euro depending on traffic.

Hyatt Vendome Hotel is a 7 minute walk away. Madeline about 12 minutes
