Security Lines in Atlanta

Atlanta is one of the worst airports for security lines...because there is only one main screening area. Give yourself and extra 40 minutes to get through the lines. It is worth it.

Yes, there is only 1 screening area, but there are more than 30 lanes! I have a quicker time there than at any other US airport I have been to.

If you're flying I recommend going through the T-gate security line. It is located at the end of the North terminal. It is a smaller security check; however, it moves fast!

You're not limited into going into just the T-gate. There are escalators that take you downstairs to the trains to go to the next gates.
