The bathroom facilities in China have been greatly improved in preparation for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. If you haven't traveled to China recently, you will be pleasantly surprised. However, the modernization may be placing some of the cultural sites at risk. Make sure you visit the traditional villages while they are still there.
