My wife and I have always enjoyed getaways at the Highlands Inn. An option to the beautiful Pacific's Edge restaurant is their casual and cozy California Market. We've enjoyed great meals there. If you have the option, go for a room with the whirlpool tub ... may need to book through their Vacation Club as the Hotel only has a very limited inventory.
