Traveling to AUSTIN - Bring Fido

I recently stayed at the beautiful Hyatt Lost Pines in Austin, TX. This is one of the first Hyatts I have ever been to the accepts dogs. The weight limit when I called was approx. 25 lbs max - my Welsh Corgi comes in at 36 and no one batted an eye, the exact opposite. They were amazing, I think he enjoyed the resort more then I did. The doorman welcomed him everyday, the front desk gave him a welcome gift, the gift shop gave him toys, housekeeping picket up all his toys and laid them out all so nice, waitresses brought him water at the outdoor dining. There is so much land and a wonderful walking trail along the Colorado River. Great place for your dog, hopefully Hyatt will allow this at more of its future resorts and hotels.
