Steaks, sushi and more

Across the street from the Hyatt Regency La Jolla is a slew of restaurants that even as chains are fantastic. Fleming's serves up great steaks, delicious sides and has a impressive wine list. Japengo's sushi is top notch with creative rolls and a happening bar on Thursday night. There is the Melting Pot a fun fondue place and new spot, Blue Coral, that I have not tried yet but I am sure they are up to par. But if Fleming's is not your style Donovan's on Executive Drive serves up some of the best steak I have had in San Diego.

These restaurants are good, and there are some even better ones in downtown La Jolla. Just gotta do some pokin' around.
