Slipping a drycleaner's plastic bag over each suit or sportscoat/pants combo before laying it in the garment bag works wonders because it allows clothes to slide over one another and prevents the binding-up that leads to crushing and creasing in all the wrong places! Also, laying the suits (and shirts) in such a way that the fold is across the back (and not the front) helps. If all esle fails, hanging the clothes in the hotel bathroom, turning the shower on "hot", and letting it run for a few minutes is a great way to steam the wrinkles out.
I completely agree with this and can second this advice--I have taken many a business trip and had to deal with the wrinkled suit situation. Placing the plastic over the garment and also the steaming trick in the bathroom absolutely works. Great advice for road warriors!!!
