Great city view on the cheap

For those visiting Chicago for the first time and looking to go up in either the Sears Tower or the John Hancock Tower, this tip is for you.

While the views are great in either building, the Hancock tower has the best views of the city. You're able to see the entire lakefront as well as North and South of the city.

*THE TIP*

Go to the Hancock Tower on Michigan Avenue and instead of paying the high priced ticket to go to the top, take the separate elevator to the Signature Room and Lounge, which is a free ride. Once you're at the top, feel free to have some food or a cocktail and enjoy the views.
