Shopping in Chicago is not just on Michigan Ave.

We all know that Chicago is known for the Magnificent Mile and the wonderful shopping. But did you know that the best shopping is off the beaten track?

I recommend an area of town called Lincoln Park or more specifically, Armitage Street. Here you will find some of the big-name stores such as Banana Republic and Ann Taylor, but it is better known for its small boutique-style stores. Everyone loves to have a unique find, especially when you travel. You will be sure to find that unique Chicago treasure on Armitage Street.

Thanks very much! I am trying to find some local malls in the area that sells urban clothing as well as small boutiques.

Also an additional area that you may want go to were there a lot of shopping is Wicker Park, which is located by North Ave, Damen and Milwaukee Ave.
