Taste Peru in San Francisco

Limon is a Peruvian restaurant in an area called the Mission District. What it offers is very much the new face of San Francisco. It serves Peruvian food done with California sensibility. It’s fresh, it’s light, it’s local and yet it's still the traditional cheese and whole fish cuisine from Peru.

Appropriately, Limon is in a section of town that is really changing its face. Part of it is very traditional Latino culture and the other part is an up-and-coming hipster neighborhood. Restaurants like Limon are trendsetters, reflecting that newer identity for the neighborhood.
