Variety of Districts in San Fran
Each neighborhood in San Francisco has a unique cultural identity. It is usually anchored by one or more commercial streets. The businesses along those streets, like the little shops and restaurants, generally serve the needs of the local population.
The Mission District, for instance, is historically Latino. There's also the shopping area of Union Square. So exploring those different neighborhoods is a way to get off the beaten track to see shops and restaurants that are of interest.
