The BEST dumplings in Shanghai
When in Shanghai - be sure to try "Nan Xiang" Restaurant, one of the original old school restaurants in Shanghai, known for all kinds of dumplings and steamed buns with fillings. The best kind is soup-filled pork steamed buns where you drink the soup from a straw! However, I actually advise against it because you can get burned but regardless it's a very delicious tradition. This is also probably one of the most highly recommended places in Shanghai by locals.
